About Us:
Go Tours Canada

Since 2005, Go Tours Canada has been telling the fascinating story of the Gooderham and Worts Distillery District – and for a time, Ontario Place.

Over the years, we’ve trained over 250,000 Segway riders, been featured in print magazines from over 50 countries, contributed over $20 million in economic impact, and become a must-see Toronto attraction.

ABOUT US: Who we are

Launched in 2004 as a Segway dealership (Segway of Ontario), Go Tours Canada operated our first tour in 2005 – becoming Toronto’s only Segway tour experience. For twenty years – we’ve been consistent in providing 5-star experiences in Toronto.

The Distillery District was finding its footing as a cultural destination – so we launched walking tours too – bringing visitors to experience an authentic side of Toronto few people had seen. We’ve now introduced over 250,000 guests to one of North America’s favourite pedestrian neighborhoods – creating over $18 million in economic impact through jobs, local partnerships, and visitor spending across Toronto.

For years, we operated three locations simultaneously – the Distillery District, Ontario Place, and Horseshoe Valley.

Now – we’ve evolved to experiential tourism – launching both the Toronto Cheese and Beer Walking Tour + Canary District Segway Adventure in 2025. We’ve watched this city transform into a global tourism leader – and 20 years later, we’re proud to keep showcasing the best of Toronto.

Our Mission

Our mission: To continue developing Toronto as a world-class tourism destination through authentic experiences that showcase our city’s history, culture, and incredible food scene.

We work alongside Destination Toronto, our Distillery District partners, and local businesses to strengthen Toronto’s tourism ecosystem. After twenty years and 250,000 guests, we’re experienced hands at this. Here’s how we keep contributing to what makes Toronto special:

  • Showcasing adaptive re-use success stories through our Distillery District & Canary District tours – proving industrial heritage can become cultural destinations
  • Integrating Indigenous content into our Canary District Segway Tour through the Anishnawbe Health Centre
  • Developing culinary tourism with our Canadian Beer & Cheese Tour and Breakfast experiences that highlight Canadian craft beer, cheese, and other producers
  • Creating inclusive tourism experiences that welcome everyone from families to corporate groups to first-time visitors
  • Building better tourism employment – competitive pay and flexibility while we strengthen our team benefits

OUR FOCUS ON THE FUTURE

Our expertise in micromobility goes beyond tours. Through Segway of Ontario, we’ve been Toronto’s electric scooter experts since 2004 – right here in the Distillery District. While other retailers focus on volume sales, we provide service, repair expertise, and local knowledge that comes from twenty years in the micromobility business.

This transportation expertise directly benefits our tour guests. We know these devices inside and out – from safety protocols to optimal routes – because we sell, service, and ride them every day. When you take a Segway tour with us, you’re riding with Toronto’s most experienced hands.

We believe Toronto’s transportation future includes more personal electric vehicles, and we’re helping lead that transition through both retail innovation and tourism experiences that show people how fun and practical these devices can be.

If there’s one thing about us that rings true – we love to get people moving.
