Join us for the story of the world’s largest distillery, Gooderham and Worts, as they rose to power directly opposite the temperance leagues in the 1800’s and early 1900’s.

Walk through the distillery that supplied two countries during their respective prohibitions. Find out about the legal loopholes that allowed Canada’s alcohol industry to flourish. Along the way you’ll find out about some of the more gregarious characters that became Canadian rum-running icons.

This tour concludes with a Canadian Whisky tasting featuring Gooderham and Worts, Pike Creek and Lot 40 Whiskies at Boku Noodle Bar.

There are few things more beautiful than the Distillery District at night. That’s why we’ve launched the new Distillery Nights Walking Tour.

Delight your mind with intriguing stories of years past while your taste buds rave at local favourites Ontario Spring Water Sake, Soma Chocolate and Mill St. Brewery.  Your tastings start with perfectly paired vegetarian bites and Sake before continuing on to a sweet experience at Soma and a final cheers at Mill Street’s Beer Hall.

During the tour, you’ll dive into the history of the Gooderham and Worts Distillery.  Find out how it became the world’s largest distillery while immersing yourself in gorgeous 1800’s Architecture.  During your walk, our expert Tour Guides will bring you through 200 years of compelling history between Tastings.
