Go Tours Canada Walking and Segway Tours Reopen With Charming New Raccoon Mascot

Private Walking and Segway Tours Reopen for Households and Bubbled Groups in 2021
| Toronto | June 23 2021 |

Go Tours Canada is excited to announce their Walking and Segway Tours reopen on June 23rd, 2021 in the Distillery District. Ontario Place Segway Tours are slated to return on July 1st, 2021.  To celebrate the re-opening of Tours and the Tourism Industry, Go Tours is introducing a new Toronto-themed mascot named Ryder Raccoon – completely based on the iconic Toronto Segway Raccoon incident of 2020.

“The people of Ontario have shown great support for Small Businesses during the COVID-19 Pandemic.  Now we’re finally able to reopen our Walking and Segway Tours. Finally, the people of Ontario can celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and date-night activities on a Segway again – thank God.” Says Aaron Binder, CEO of Go Tours Canada.  “Along with relaunching our Segway and Walking Tours, we’ve got a slick new Toronto-themed logo to commemorate the great Segway Raccoon incident of 2020.”

Ontario’s Tourism businesses have been closed for the last 9 months and Go Tours Canada is encouraging Torontonians to enjoy local attractions in 2021.  “While businesses are re-opening, many of us are still on thin ice.  If you can travel in 2021, there’s lots to discover in Ontario.”  Says Binder “On top of that, our Tour Guides have been getting lonely.  We even had to re-teach one of them how to shave.  They definitely need your support right now, many haven’t even told so much as a historical anecdote since 2020.”

Tours can be booked at gotourscanada.com and are available Monday – Saturday.  During Phase 1 and 2 of Ontario’s re-opening, tours can be booked by families living together and groups in the same bubble.
